Notice regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
As we begin to see and feel the effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in our global and local community, we want to share the steps and precautions we are taking at Wings Republic to assure our part in protecting the health and safety of our customers.
Presently, we are monitoring public health guidelines advancing from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the California Department of Public Health to maintain exceptional sanitation efforts. Additionally, it is important to note, according to the CDC, “Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread from person-to-person through respiratory droplets” and as of now, “there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with food.”
We are glad to express our cleaning habits are on par with the requirements from the San Diego Department of Environmental Health, and we have only reiterated the importance of frequently maintaining a clean environment. Our efforts in housekeeping include but are not limited to: sanitizing door handles, surface tops, sink knobs, and other high-touch surface areas in the dining room as well as the back of house. Each member at Wings Republic is closely regarding the guidelines from the CDC to maintain quality cleaning and disinfecting efforts.
We share our deepest condolences for those affected by this pandemic. Gratefully, none of our members have developed symptoms of COVID-19, however, we are administering precautions for those who feel ill in any way to stay home.
Our restaurant is currently open, at the convenience of our customers, for regular business hours. However, if we become conscious of a case, present at our restaurant, trust that we will not open our doors until the matter is settled and safe for everyone.
